A slightly
older version 4.0 is available in German. Since years now the number of German
players have been too small to start a new game in German.
Amount of time and effort needed to play: Of course in the beginning one has to
read the rules and regulations for email submission of orders. Once you grasp the
game mechanics you can complete your turn in about 10 to 20 minutes. As currently
all games are on a weekly schedule, it should be possible for everyone to
continue the game without putting too much restraint on his freetime.

KING OF KINGS SERVER GAME
There is a new automated King of Kings server written according to the basic rules in C++. All new games are run via the server version.
If you wish to write your own turn generator programs, turn prediction programs, etc. then you can have full access to all the source code for the classes that describe and manipulate game state. Just contact the author (jontomxire@yahoo.co.uk) so that he can advise you as to source control procedures, and you can download the latest version to work on from here
(http://www.spod-central.org/~jontom).

KokMove
This program is a move editor for the pb(e)m game King of Kings. Itis
intended to help players creating and checking their moves. To do this, all the
commands can be entered in a more natural and more self explanational way. After
creation, the move can be checked for errors. This is less error prone than to
write moves with a normal text editor. To plan your move, you
need a turn
viewer like KKViwer. KoKMove is based on version 4.4e of King of Kings, but it
may work for other versions as well. See the online help for more information.
